Crown and Crumpet

Mini baking sets from Japan, make-up bags from England, and sweet-smelling toiletries from the States- Crown & Crumpet Fancy Goods makes shopping fun again. This charming new shop is a treasure trove of unique little discoveries that you won’t find everywhere else. Stop by after a spot of tea and discover charming decor for your home, an array of beautiful bath and body products, sparkly jewels to wear, and candies that are almost too pretty to eat.

Pssst...Crown & Crumpet Fancy Goods is the sister store to the delightful Crown & Crumpet Tea Salon.

Opened: Late November 2009 {and will just be open for a few months!}

Location: Ghirardelli Square, 900 North Point, Lower Plaza Level, underneath the Crown & Crumpet Tea Salon

I wish I could fly to California for a pre-Christmas visit!

Gift Ideas

Here are some gift ideas...throwing the Lady Dior bag in there for good measure!

The first image is a Paul Smith cherry-topped tea cosy. I didn’t know I wanted one until I saw it.... (£45, from www.paulsmith.co.uk.)

To dream a little...

I just love the first image! And the idea of placing candles along the front steps ( a bit tricky here in Canada!) but I like to dream a little....

I couldn't help but add the Oscar de la Renta window on Madison avenue to the lot....J'Adore!

Another Christmas Tree and Decor Inspiration

Brown Button

Here's another christmas tree: it is sweet and the ornaments are light and fluffy! This would be perfect for my bedroom. I just wish I had more time in a day to create such lovely christmas decorations...

The first image belongs to Emily Chalmers, an author based in London who has written interior design books on eclectic flea market style and entertaining. I own two of her books and she really has great taste. She also owns a shop by the name of Caravan. I will certainly drop by next time I go to London.
