Lovely Thought

A lovely & inspirational thought for the day. I'm working hard on finishing the second book before vacation season hits, so I thought this was a helpful reminder...

I took a break last night to see KD Lang in concert at the Montreal Jazz Fest. It was fantastic, she has such an amazing voice!

I hope you had a fabulous weekend despite the sad weather. I was able to edit and rewrite several chapters of my novel so the cloudy skies were very productive for me!

I'm loving these hats from the Antonio Marras Cruise collection. The perfect ladylike finishing touch to such gorgeous ensembles.

I also picked up the cutest watering can made in Holland, bright and cheery to help chase the clouds away.

A dream writing cabin

 

I've been spending time in the country to finish my second novel; nature inspires me in so many ways. Something I dream about is having a tiny cabin, where I can take refuge in the woods to write. Like this tiny jewel I found on House of Turquoise. It belongs to Canadian photographer Stacey Haines' family in Nova Scotia. You can read about it here. What are you dreaming about these days?
