Happy Monday dear friends! It's gorgeous but chilly today!

What have you been up to? I've been recovering from my trip abroad, working on a few projects (personal and work related) and preparing for some presentations this week. I'm a bit nervous, as I will be talking about my novel, J'adore Paris, to the entire community of local booksellers tomorrow night at a private dinner. Oh la la, I think a glass of bubbly will be called for beforehand....

I'm delighted to share my first interview pre-launch, with Musiety online magazine!

Happy Valentine's Day!

 

 I'm back from my whirlwind trip to Paris just in time to wish you all a very happy Valentine's Day! I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by here and read. The blogosphere being crowded with so many great blogs, I appreciate having you as a reader and am sending you all some big hugs!

 My trip overseas was fantastic but went by much too quickly. I will share some more photos on here very soon.

Candyland: le monde de Julie Ansiau

Greetings again from the City of Light. I enjoyed a serendipitous meeting yesterday with talented photographer and artist Julie Ansiau. We had originally crossed paths before the Chanel show two years ago in Paris and she was gracious to invite me into her gorgeous home.  Over tea, she provided her favorite Paris addresses and told me about her work. In addition to taking stunning photographs, she creates these fun popquilts that have been the rage all over the world. I hope to be lucky enough to own one some day...Her apartment is truly divine. A curated mix of vintage, flea market finds and designer pieces, I would have gladly stayed all day. Merci Julie for your hospitality!

Bonjour de Paris!

Happy Monday! I hope you enjoyed a fantastic weekend. Mine was dreamy as I am currently in the City of Lights for a few more days. I'm working very hard ( yes, I really am here for work) on my first  non-fiction project, a Parisian address book and it's been very exciting. So far, I've covered La Rive Gauche, Le Marais, Le Musée des Arts Décoratifs and le Musée Maillol.

Yesterday , I took in the spectacular Van Cleef & Arpels Exhibit (it just ended, I'm afraid...) and was transported into a world of luxe glamor, scintillating jewels and breathtaking beauty.

Happy Monday dear readers! And hel-looooo February. I hope you enjoyed a fantastic weekend! I apologize for the lack of posts lately, I've been tied up reviewing book translations, marketing and planning an upcoming trip to Paris, oui, oui, oui.

I'm excited to share some great news. I'm working on a travel guide for Les Édtions La Presse. The little book will be filled with my favorite parisian places as well as those of my main character, Catherine Lambert ( for those of you that have read J'adore New York...) It's particularly exciting as Catherine's upcoming adventures in the City Of Light will be published this spring...I will share more details as we get closer to the publishing date.

J'Adore Henri e-Cards!

Valentine's Day is fast approaching and I was thrilled to discover these lovely e-cards from Henri Bendel ( one of my favorite stores in New York!)

The illustrations are by the same person who created my French book cover for J'adore New York and soon to be released J'Adore Paris. I can't wait to share that one, here's a hint, I think it's fabulous!!
