My heart stopped as I walked into Henri Bendel's in New York over the holidays. Not only were the accessories drop dead gorgeous ( literally!) but many items were designed with illustrations created by Izak Zenou. Watercolors of lithe New York girls were posted in every corner of the store. I had to hold my breath and pinch myself not to buy every Izak item in sight....it was VERY painful.
Apparently Zenou was born in France. After having worked as a stylist; Izak started his career as a fashion illustrator in 1992. His artwork contribution includes French ‘Elle’; ‘Figaro’; ‘American Vogue’; as well as catalogues for Chanel’s perfume ‘Allure’. Now he lives in New York and his recent works involve campaign visuals of fashion specialty stores of three big cities in the world; HENRI BENDEL of New York; FRANK ET FILS of Paris ; and Le Printemps of Tokyo.
He also designs lovely book covers...I will put my name on his list!

Love his work! I actually have some of it posted on my inspiration board in my office. Didn't know who the artist was though. Thx for sharing :)
