New York In Paris

As part of my doing research on my next novel ( pssst, can you keep a secret? It's a sequel to the first!) I found these pictures of recent Le Printemps windows: The chic Paris department store gave New York designers a lovely tribute.  Aren't they simply fabulous?

And found this New York style café recently opened by a New York expat, the totally fabulous Merce ( she makes delicious coffee in fabulous vintage clothing, need I say more?), it's called Merce and the Muse, it's located in Le Marais and you can bet that I will stopping in for a treat next time I'm in town...

Finally, I came across these stunning posters this week created by French artist Vahram Muratyam.

A friendly visual match between those two cities, as seen by a Parisian-based-and-lover on New York : details, cliches and contradictions.

Vraiment, J'Adore!

Having lived in both cities, I love this post!! Printemps is one of my favorite stores and the next time you're there, you must check out Printemps Maison (and eat at the rooftop restaurant!)
