Book of the Week: La Parisienne by Ines de la Fressange

I picked up a French copy of this book in Paris ( I just had to say that, wooot! And in a quaint book store on Boulevard Saint-Germain, okay enough with the bragging!) It has been soooo inspiring, especially since my next novel takes place in Paris! It's already been annotated like mad.

What are the fashion secrets of the Parisian woman?

Ines de la Fressange is giving you all the tips about french chic and the addresses of the best shops and places to eat. My favorite tip? Not to stress out when entertaining & having friends over for dinner.

Drawings by Ines and her daughter is the model for photography by Benoit Peverelli.

Fashion goes away, but Ines stays ! You can order your (French)copy via the trendy Colette shop and read a review of the English version here.

I came across a lovely little pink antique sofa at a shop in the eastern townships last week and I'm seriously considering picking it up. I guess that spring is making me want to re-decorate my work area. I've been inspired by Ines de la Fressange's office at Roger Vivier in Paris.
