Pretty in Pink

All this pink has left me with a major sugar rush!

I never tire of looking at pictures of Natalia Vodianova, she is simly stunning. I remember standing in front of a Patrick Demarchelier portrait of her as part of an exhibit at Le Petit Palais two years ago and being totally transported by her haunting gaze. She has the most exquisite eyes...you feel as though is looking right through you...

On a different note, I am sharing a quote that I came across yesterday on the Happiness Project blog:

"It is generally allowed, that no man ever found the happiness of possession proportionate to that expectation which incited his desire, and invigorated his pursuit; nor has any man found the evils of life so formidable in reality, as they were described to him by his own imagination;.." -- Samuel Johnson

So very true!!!

Retro Look at Louis Vuitton

Of all the LV campaigns I've seen, this is by far my favorite.

The looks are feminine, classy and sublime.  You can imagine these lovely ladies strolling in the Jardin des Tuileries in their gorgeous dresses, stopping for une glace while gossiping about their evening plans with their current suitors...

It reminds me a lot of the Dior New Look collection, which I've always admired. Although it is nothing new, sometimes going back in the fashion archives and reviving the old can indeed be refreshing!

J'Adore tout simplement!

Spring is in the air...

It's lovely out today, very spring like. I'm already day dreaming about wearing pastels and summer dresses...But the weather can be very tricky here in Canada so the sandals can't come out of the closet just yet!
