Modern Millie Vintage

I came across the Modern Millie vintage shop in Newburyport, Mass. by accident, as I was looking for a coffee shop and was going the wrong way but it turned out to be quite auspicious as as soon as I entered, I felt as though I had found heaven.

They have an amazing selection of dresses, and if my significant other hadn't been there to control my shopping urges, I would have literally emptied the store. The dresses are reasonably priced and in excellent condition. I picked this dress in a soft nude with side slits with a peach satin lining that gives it an Asian allure. It's gorgeous and I can't wait to wear it.

They have a lovely blog, where they post inspirational pictures.

If you are in the area, it's a must see & they also have another location in Salem.

Happy Friday!! How gorgeous are these photos taken from the Ruche look book? They conjure images of a romantic summer weekend at the country...I just discovered this lovely shopping site and was tempted by the Roxane striped two piece bathing suit:

 

I just hope it looks half as good on me as it does on her!

Local announcement: Harricana Shopping Event

I am pleased to report another wonderful shopping event hosted by Harricana by Mariouche. The event will take place in Montreal on Wednesday December 1st from 5 to 9 pm at 3000 Saint-Antoine Ouest and proceeds will benefit the Dispensaire diététique de Montréal (DDM). Harricana by Mariouche, is a local designer who specializes in recycled fur. Her pieces are absolutely stunning!

I just discovered a French boutique by the name of Manoush...

I read about the the designer behind the brand, Frederique Trou-Roy, in a French fahion magazine by the name of Be. Her style is fresh and feminine, can't wait to check out her stores when in Paris!
