After watching Marion Cotillard render a gut wrenching performance as Edith Piaf in La Vie Rose, it occured to me that no movie had been made about the life of Coco Chanel. In 2009, we will be served. I have read several biographies about this incredible woman and her life story ressembles that of Piaf's in many respects. It has the potential to be the Fashion movie of 2009. AND Karl Lagerfeld is apparently overseeing the costumes, god bless his heart!
