When it comes to exquisite design, the French and the Italian are hard to beat. While browsing in the quartier Saint-Germain in Paris recently, I came across lovely notebooks made from ecological paper. I bought two packs of three notebooks and now seriously regret not having purchased more! If I recall, they were quite inexpensive, 3 euros for a pack. I thought they were made in France but it turns out they are originally from Italy. No big surprise! They could make great gifts and are a sweet way to keep a grocery list or a journal. Good luck finding these lovely little paper jewels.
