Buddhist Teachings

Rhonna Designs

I listened to a wonderful segment on the radio this past weekend that discussed the search for happiness through Buddist teachings as a way to be happier in 2009. After doing a bit research, I found these lovely Buddhist quotes that I hope you will find inspiring:

The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, nor to worry about the future, but to live the present moment wisely and earnestly.

The things you own end up owning you. It's only after you lose everything that you're free to do anything.

The greatest achievement is selflessness.

The greatest worth is self-mastery.

The greatest quality is seeking to serve others.

The greatest precept is continual awareness.

The greatest medicine is the emptiness of everything.

The greatest action is not conforming with the worlds ways.

The greatest magic is transmuting the passions.

The greatest generosity is non-attachment.

The greatest goodness is a peaceful mind.

The greatest patience is humility.

The greatest effort is not concerned with results.

The greatest meditation is a mind that lets go.

The greatest wisdom is seeing through appearances.

Hi,

You've a really great blog. A lot of people don't understand what mind power can do to one's achievements.
