Happy Monday + News!

Bonjour mes amis! Sorry for the delay in posting. I've been away launching a new book, my Paris travel guide Une Romancière à Paris published this week with Les Éditions La Presse

It's the perfect book to take along on a trip to the City of Light, whether with your sweetheart or a girlfriend. It's in French at the moment but I do hope to have it translated into English soon.  (Please do tell me what you think, is this something you would enjoy?)

I've also been taking time out to think about my various internet platforms....and I've decided it was time to make some big changes to my author website, my blog and other media ( oh la la, can you say yikes!)

It's been difficult to do as I've grown very attached to my blog here over the years....and change can be very scary but it can also be incredibly liberating. So I do hope that you will continue to follow me on my new adventures,  approve of my media platform choices and I will keep you updated on my progress.

Enjoy a wonderful week!

Living Life

"For what it’s worth: it’s never too late to be whoever you want to be. I hope you live a life you’re proud of, and if you find you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start over again."

  • Plain Stevia Drops or your favorite natural sweetener to taste (Honey would be great too) I used one full dropper of stevia.
  • a handful of Organic Edible Flowers, rinsed and remove petals
Method
  • Have pop molds handy and make sure you have room in your freezer. Combine water, orange blossom water and lemon juice. Sweeten to taste. Pour mixture into molds. Freeze without sticks and petals for about 1 hour. Remove from freezer and add flower petals. You can push them into the molds with the help of a long, skinny spoon or pop stick. Make sure the flowers are scattered throughout the pops. Add sticks and freeze for 2-3 hours more until solid.

Sat Nam

Hello dear friends. I apologize for the long delay in posting.  I was away at a very special retreat to re-energize my soul and spirit at Kripalu, in western Mass. It was an event organized by author and well known speaker Gabrielle Bernstein. Her NYT bestselling book May Cause Miracles was inspired by her own spiritual journey and she's certified Kundalini meditation teacher.

All I can say is that it was an exhilarating, eye opening and very special moment that I treated myself to. I encourage anyone on a spiritual journey to read her books and try her Kundalini guided meditations. It can recharge your soul and literally change your life, one om at a time. Sat nam.

The future is Bright!

Hello, I'm back! I took a re-energizing trip by the ocean to recharge my (dead) batteries! It was a welcome break. I mostly slept in, took long walks and stayed away from the computer.....ahhhhhhhhh.  What are you up to this summer? Any exciting travel plans?

Here are some things that I cam across this week and that I totally love:

A sweet, retro looking beach radio!

A great looking summery bag from Henri Bendel.

A beach ball bracelet from J. Crew.

And...the SUMMER ESCAPES campaign launched by my publisher! Be sure to check the FREE e-book sampler!

And finally, I'm delighted to share an article that appeared in the National Post this week about my book!
