Be My Valentine

Looking for some ideas for Valentine's Day? I came across two lovely gifts by Lanvin. The first is a Notebook with sweet illustrations and the second is an adorable Doll Key Chain. It's soooo cute, I'd love to have one! Charlotte Hosten also has gorgeous one-of-a kind necklaces.

The last picture was taken by me, it's a box filled with a compilation of love letters by local authors and I was lucky enough to be asked to contribute. The title of my love note: My Party Shoes!

My favorite ladies in Lanvin

I wasn't able to purchase anything from the latest collection since I was at The Montreal Salon du Livre signing books last weekend..( and moving!) but I'm living vicariously through some of my favorite style icons...First on the list, the beautiful Haleigh at Bardot in Blue. She looks dreamy in her dress..

I just noticed that copies of my novel,J'adore New York, are sitting on her dresser to her left, how exciting! Stay tuned for information on why that is...!

Chiara from the Blonde salad is also looking lovely in her pink number...

And last but not least, the amazingly talented & stunning Melody Gardot in a Red Lanvin dress ( not from H&M) looking simply ravishing in Denmark.

Ladies, you totally rock!

Lanvin Homme in Montreal

I attended a lovely cocktail for the launch of Lanvin's formal menswear collection in Montreal at Eccetera Boutique on Peel Street. Organized by the dashing Serge Jean Laviolette, we had a peek at the stunning collection and received lovely gifts, including Lanvin pencils!

I will be at the Salon du Livre of Montreal this weekend at the Quebec Amérique stand.  Please drop by and say hello, I have some surprises for you.

Have a great weekend!

Lanvin's Private Library in Paris

As the fashion world prepares for the H&M launch of its Lanvin collection this week, I came across these gorgeous photographs of Jeanne Lanvin's library in Paris taken by Todd Selby.

A special thanks Stephanie for finding them!

Here's a great article about writing (or rather, why it's important to take breaks from writing) by author Veronica Roth. So very true!
