Happy Monday from Paris!

I've just landed in the City of Light.

Looking forward to catching up with some fantastic people, seeing some exhibits and lots and lots of fashion as inspiration for my next novel.

I don't know about you but I must admit to being left speechless by the news regarding John Galliano. Let's just hope that everything works out for the best at Dior.

Have a lovely week, can't wait to share some photographs of my stay in this gorgeous city.

Did you know that?

The last installment for Marion Cotillard's Lady Dior ads will take place in London? I can't wait!

"Gray, the emblematic color of Christian Dior and synonymous with London’s weather, is also the theme of the next Marion Cotillard-fronted campaign for the French house. Print ads depicting the actress aboard the London Eye Ferris wheel dressed in Dior’s cruise collection and hoisting a gray version of the iconic Lady Dior bag with a shoulder strap are slated to break in a range of December issues, including Vogue Nippon, Elle in the U.K. and France, and Vanity Fair in the U.S."

Elizabeth Hurley has developed her own line of healthy snacks? They sound yummy...

....and that John Galliano is the latest designer to decorate the sumptuous Ladurée macarons box?

A special thanks to Carolyn James from Diane James Home for the mention!

Never one to disappoint, John Galliano delivers a fantastic couture show. Magnifique! While we are on the topic, stay tuned for some news about my upcoming book, J'Adore Dior.

Dior Christmas Tree

John Galliano is embracing the holiday spirit. Next month, a John Galliano for Dior Christmas tree will be unveiled at London’s Claridge’s hotel — and, not surprisingly, the designer has eschewed a traditional festive theme. Instead, Galliano has designed a sparkling white tropical Christmas tree, which will be strewn with crystals, orchids, vines and lianas, while a sleeping leopard figure will perch on one of the branches. “I want to combine the festive with the innovative, the spirit of Dior with the beauty of Claridge’s and create something spectacular that will inspire,” said Galliano. The tree will go up in Claridge’s Dec. 1 and will remain in the hotel’s foyer through Jan. 6. “This is another bold step in Claridge’s history to provoke, confound and delight our guests,” said Claridge’s general manager Philippe Leboeuf.
