Sorbet Shades

What is it about lovely pastel colors that gets my blood pumping fast? A loooooong grey & cold winter perhaps. I picked up the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar last night and all the spring campaigns had me swooning!

Speaking of sorbet shades, if you prefer shopping for vintage rather than ready-to-wear, take a look at the sublime pieces at Atelier Mayer, they are drool worthy.

The Christian Dior Japanese print trench coat is divine.

On a different note, I came across some links that I thought were share worthy, including Refinery 29's  spring floral trends, and Oscar De La Renta dancing between fittings to the song Maniac! Now that put me in a good mood!

New York Fashion Week: Oscar De la Renta

I was blown away by the stunning gowns while watching Oscar de la Renta's fashion show on a streaming video last week. Although I would have loved to have been there, I must say that there's nothing like watching a glamorous fashion show in your PJ's with a wonderful glass of red wine. Here's to the joys of modern technology...Enjoy!

To dream a little...

I just love the first image! And the idea of placing candles along the front steps ( a bit tricky here in Canada!) but I like to dream a little....

I couldn't help but add the Oscar de la Renta window on Madison avenue to the lot....J'Adore!
