Happy Monday! It's all about COLOR!

Happy Monday!! Hope you had a lovely weekend!! Mine was great, filled with nice dinners, some fresh air and writing. I was totally inspired on Saturday, and this sent my spirits SOARING! As a writer, there's nothing greater than being sparked by the MUSE.

 Every spring, an euphoric sensation comes over me as the seasonal fashions change from dark, muted and cold to light, bright and cheery. My mood immediately lightens as I pass by the colorful windows and displays, dreaming of candy colored shoes and bags. This spring, it looks like I won't be disappointed with all the bright colors I saw while window shopping in Paris!

Also, it always makes me smile when the wearing of flowing flowered dresses coincides with the burgeoning of the crocus, tulips and daffodils.  To me, this is what fashion is all about, having fun, feeling great while being in tune with the seasons.

Dreaming of Spring

This fashion editorial is totally dreamy, don't you think? The light, bright colors together with a preppy twist make me dream of spring. Speaking of dreamy, I picked up these two lovely items on Etsy. A long bias cut butterfly dress and cute as a button hand knitted cardigan. Lovely, non? The only thing missing now is warm and sunny weather!

Inspiration: Mulberry Spring Campaign

Giving you a little glimpse of springtime! I'm loving  these gorgeous ads with clusters of one of my favorite flowers: pink and blue hydrangeas. I've planted some in my garden over the years and always pick up potted ones as soon as they become available. And the little piglet is adorable too!

Inspiration + D&G in Milan

I almost died when I saw the feminine D&G collection for summer and Spring 2011 presented in Milan. Could we fast forward to spring already and forget winter? I guess the sign above could read If you love the spring, you gotta put up with winter!

The details and accessories are also lovely. I think that flowered bag is calling my name!

New York Fashion Week: Oscar De la Renta

I was blown away by the stunning gowns while watching Oscar de la Renta's fashion show on a streaming video last week. Although I would have loved to have been there, I must say that there's nothing like watching a glamorous fashion show in your PJ's with a wonderful glass of red wine.
