Stripe Love Affair

If you've been following my blog, you probably have guessed by now that I ADORE anything with stripes!  Shirts, skirts, throw pillows, furniture, you name it, i love it!

I particularly love the striped drawer chest above and the monogrammed pillows. I'm thinking of ordering the blue and white one for my office.  And those cute mittens, aren't they just adorable? Today, I'm wearing a striped blue and white skirt that I picked up at Forever 21 for a song.

Chantal Kreviazuk Cover

I bought this Chantal Kreviazuk CD over the weekend and I really love it. The first song,  Invincible, is fantastic and so upbeat. It's my new favorite go-to uplifting song!

The CD cover is also really lovely.

Oh la la, c'est l'amour

I just love color. Black and white is just not my thing, I'm afraid. So I gasped with delight when I came across the Trina Turk spring look book...and decided that I will use these images to create my own summer looks..

Very pretty pattern and just love the scarf.

I just adore everything about this look, including her bouffant hairdo. Wish I could replicate this do on my own every morning...

Lovely for happy hour cocktails in the garden...

This is the look I would wear in my convertible British racing green MG, if I had one...!!

The winter blues got you down? Try bringing a little yellow into your life! I love the yellow couch in the first picture. I also love the bright yellow walls in the home portrayed in Country Living magazine with the upbeat Beatles lyrics, talk about a happy looking home... As for my patent leather yellow shoes? They'll have to wait a while before coming out of my closet....it's snowing!!
