I just came across some pictures of jewelry designer Pamela Love's wedding in Montauk. Breezy, beachy, laid-back, with just the right amount of pretty. And that menu looks simply divine!

After moving last week, I'm still unpacking and now working on getting the details right.  To me, the small accessories and personal touches are what truly make a home.

I came across by Kyle de Woody's lovely apartment in New York. I love how she's incorporated a touch of playfulness to her space, a bit of retro vibe and a fun mix of art.

I hope you enjoyed a fantastic week! I was able to get so much writing done and it feels great! The weather was spectacular and it finally feels as though Spring is here to stay. Tiny flowers have bloomed in the garden which is always very uplifting.

What do you have planned for the weekend? There is interesting exhibit about the colors of India ending on Sunday in Montreal.

Also, the renowned  Alvin Ailey Dance troop is performing here this weekend, which promises to be a great show.

Happy Monday mes amies! I hope you had a fantastic weekend! The weather here was simply AMAZING! It was a busy one with a book launch, running errands and hosting a dinner party for family.

Pre-Oscar Parties

This is an exciting week in Hollywood, lots of glamorous pre-Oscar parties are under way. 

Harvey Weinstein co-hosted a party at Chateau Marmont last night with Dior that included Halle Berry, Anne Hathaway and Emmy Rossum, among others...

Apparently Dior linens and tableware were flown in directly from Paris for the event. How I wished I was there.  What would I wear to such a soirée? Black dress, red lips and lots of pearls!

I nearly keeled over when I came across the pictures of the London home of the owners of the Rug Company in this month's Vogue. The colors and furniture is to die for!! This is exactly the style that I love, a mixture of bold colors, and of old and new.
