I've got a busy program that includes a dinner party, fixing up a family member's new place and a book signing event on Sunday.

In the meantime, I'll be putting up my feet a bit later and enjoying a well deserved glass of red wine!

The Colette boutique in Paris holds a significant place in my heart. And it's not because of the drool worthy merchandise and the fact that Colette also happens to be my mother's name...I was in this store when I received THE phone call from my publisher, Harper Collins, saying they wanted to buy the rights to my upcoming first novel.

  

I am indebted to Colette for life and should somehow show my appreciation by ( perhaps) splurging on this felt stunner!! Maybe in my dreams ( and next novel!).....sighhhhhh.

I'm gonna party like it's 2009!

I have two weeks left before my novel is complete ( and this time, I mean complete!!) So I can tell you that I'm REALLY looking forward to that first Martini. Also planning to hit Tenjune in NYC and dance on the tables with my posse like in the old days!!! Woooohoooo!
